2. Ideal Beam Color & Intensity
Designed by dentists and ophthalmologists, the Elite Headlight has the ideal beam color temperature of 6000K. This color temperature mimics natural daylight- which translates to a bright white light that allows you to properly illuminate and assess your patient’s teeth. The Elite Headlight also features 6 different light intensities that you can utilize for specific procedures.
Most ophthalmologists agree that a measurement
of 25,000 - 39,000 lux or 2,300 - 3,600 footcandles is
ideal for headlight intensity in dentistry.
Anything more can create a washing out effect. Our controllable beam intensity goes all the way up to 39,000 lux (3,600 footcandles).
