I purchased my ultralight optics light about 18 years ago. Over these many years, I have only replaced some connectors twice, batteries 4 times and the yellow light shield once. Ultralight optics is great to work with as they are detailed and any parts needed reach me in 3-4 days. The light attachment to my loupes is easy to use and the lamp is quite bright and sturdy.

This is the 4th and 5th filter I've bought in the past 13 years, great product and indispensable when working what light activated materials and the ultralight headlamp. One critique only, the filter has a built in weak spot in the area of the rotation stop, the material is very thin and the retention ring of the filter always cracks here after a few years. Reworking the way the stop is placed in the ring could make a good product great.

Glad this composite filter was still in-stock. My older set of loupes & light are still usable for when I don't need the higher power optics(ie crown or veneer seats) and the filter really helps with light sensitive cements.
