The battery pack is reasonably light and it works just as well as other more expensive light. I own Orascoptic, Surgitel, and Q-Optic. But the price beats them all.

Our Dental office staff have been using the Ultralight Optics LED's for years with no problems. After years of untroubled service, one of the battery packs died so we ordered a replacement. We received it in record time and put it right into service with no hassle.
We love your products!

The ultralight battery is reliable for a day's use, more or less of course depending on patient load in my dental office. It charges quickly and I found that having 2 batteries is ideal as there is always one ready to go. I wear it clipped on the waistband of my scrub pants and run the cord under my shirt and out the side to plug it in.
One caution: it will not sustain being dropped very well or very often, so be careful around objects or tight spaces that may push it off where it can hit the floor.

light weight for sure, maybe could be brighter? or have the option to go a little brighter. Battery life is short though, i have to replace so often compared to other brands.

Battery life about 2 years. The light is indeed one of the lightest on the market. The LED light has lifetime warranty which is great. Initially I bought the touchless battery but found that it was too sensitive so I stayed with the switch. Had this system for 5 years now and will likely stay with it.
